s. doesn't know what he is missing being allergic to peanuts. I only let ari trick or treat so that I can steal his candy. He is going as a turtle (of course). He is finally to the age that I can no longer spell out words to avoid letting him know what I'm talking about. I told a friend on the telephone that he said that he wanted to be a g-h-o-s-t. (which we were discouraging him from because a sheet costume is not very exciting) Ari's response was, "Mommy, does that spell ghost?" AAAAaaah! Despite the fact that I learned how to read when I was four I'm still amazed at how quickly he is picking up on learning how to read.
Tonight, S. and I are going to hear Spearhead. S. is really looking forward to this. I'm a little worried that I am not going to be energized enough to be as zealous.
My sentences are clumsy. I'm out of practice when it comes to making sense. I'm going to be taking a composition course next semester. My first class in almost ten years. I am a little scared. Hopefully as a result I will learn to contruct sentences once again.
This year i'm definitely committing to doing nanowrimo. I say it every year but this year I really mean it. (we'll see)
