Last night my ex mother in law tried to trick me into letting my son go to vacation bible school. Hyphens be damned, hell no!! She worded it very carefully, "Do you think he could come visit just next week, the whole week" I said "well, i think he is registering for kindergarten around that time...and also has shots and a dental appointment...But, I'm not 100 percent certain because I have my planner at work." (She said, "Oh, that's too bad because I would really like for Ari to come visit that week. I asked, "when exactly". I heard her ask her daughter in the background which gave part of it away. "Sunday", she answered. "Oh, why Sunday?" "Well, O. is teaching vacation bible school that week and would really like for him to come, did he tell you the scripture he learned the last time" The Last Time he was here. Ahhhh. NO. He did not. Have you been brain-washing my little non-christian child?!

I immediately telephoned his father who I was almost certain would agree with me. However, someone answered the phone "Holy heart, the virgin mary's most holy heart resides at this very residence"

AAAAGHHHH!

Apparently, it was a friend who was jokingly answering the phone that way just to scare telemarketers but that was just the worst timing ever.

His father did agree with me, as I knew he would. He agreed quell his mothers attemps to indocrinate our child, once again. He also agreed to switch weekends with me since I am feeling wonky from last weekends experience from hell and had tried calling me earlier in the day just to do that. For once we seem to be in sync. Perhaps I should knock on wood.

S. and I also seem to be in sync with S. which also makes me very happy.
